Welcome! We’re your hosts, Maria & Omar. We’ve been together since we were teens and have been married for almost 20 years.

We moved from South Florida to North Carolina in 2018 and fell in love with the mountains — we have 3 kids and turns out we really love the outdoors, the change of seasons and southern charm.

We had been dreaming of owning our own vacation home for a few years and when we saw this cabin, we knew it was the one.

Aside from managing the property, I (Maria) am a mortgage specialist, licensed in both NC and FL. If you’re looking to buy in either of those states — or invest in your own short-term rental, I’d love to help.

Omar is a project manager at an architect firm — thankfully, he always supports my wild ideas and has a knack for finding the perfect homes on Zillow 🙂 This cabin wouldn’t have been possible without him!
